When I composed this song on a trip to South Africa in 2003, I was looking for a nice musical bridge, and when I heard the call of the Green Pigeon on a southern-africa-bird-calls-cd, I knew that I had found it! So I wrote down the call of the Green Pigeon and played it on my soprano saxophone at the bridge of the song.
At the background of the entire song you'll hear sounds of an african safari, like hippo's and ibises etc.
I used samples of "normal" pigeons and made them coo in time to the music, hope you'll enjoy it!
